George Russell is under investigation for opening his DRS in a non-DRS zone, with it to be investigated after the race.

The Mercedes driver had an issue with his DRS which resulted in the team making changes to Russell's car, with multiple drivers having encountered rear wing issues.

Russell's transponder also failed to work, although must wait to see if he will keep a podium finish.

He fended-off Lando Norris to provisionally secure second for Mercedes at the Bahrain International Circuit.
