The second installment of the Formula 1 Esports series gets underway later as stars from the world of motorsport and beyond take to the grid for the British Virtual Grand Prix. Haas claimed victory round the virtual Red Bull Ring in the season opener in the hands of Formula 3 driver Enzo Fittipaldi, and he will once again partner his brother and Haas F1 reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi. They’ll be joined on the grid by Williams drivers George Russell and Nicholas Latifi who are the only current F1 drivers entered into the event. After finishing fourth in Austria, Red Bull’s Test and Reserve Driver Alex Albon will once again compete alongside Liam Lawson, while Callum Ilott and Robert Shwartzman line up for the Ferrari Driver Academy Esports team. Elsewhere, Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois drives for Alfa Romeo alongside YouTuber Jack McDermott for the second race in row. The event gets underway at 18:00 GMT with the five-lap Sprint Race kicking things off and setting the grid for the Feature Race which will commence shortly after.
