Audi's F1 timeline

Time is fast running out for Audi before its arrival into F1 in 2026.

Boss Mattia Binotto has a target in mind for challenging for the world championship - one he compared to climbing Mount Everest - the great mountain finally conquered in May 1953 by Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay.

Button questions 'weird' Red Bull

Much has been made down the years of Red Bull's approach to drivers and the ruthless nature of the junior programme. 

Jenson Button has admitted he finds it "weird" and that he was never entirely "comfortable" with Red Bull's methods.

Domenicali's warning

Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc will be the strongest driver pairing on the 2025 grid, but F1 chief Stefano Domenicali has a word of caution for Fred Vasseur. 

Domenicali knows a thing or two about Ferrari driver partnerships after being at the helm during the infamous "Fernando is faster than you" message delivered to Felipe Massa at the 2010 German GP, telling him to move over for Fernando Alonso, at a time team orders were banned.
