Daniel Ricciardo has shown off his new-look 2022 helmet design, just ahead of McLaren's 2022 F1 car reveal at their headquarters in Woking in the UK.
The helmet reveal was posted to Jen Munser Helmet Designs' social media channels, who painted the unique helmets according to a design from Ornamental Conifer.
Ricciardo's new helmet utilises a striking peach coloured base, with a move away from the light blue colours he mostly used during the '21 season.
"Alright, [my] 2022 helmet is here!" Ricciardo said, as he removed the cover from the helmet.
"It's a Ornamental Conifer design, and the colour of the year is peach. That's what we're doing!"
Ricciardo presents a thought-provoking message
Pointing to two individual words printed on the helmet, Ricciardo emphasised: "This year it is... Present. Momentum.
"It's about being present in the moment. It's so easy to get caught up with what lies ahead, you get excited and think about what's next.
"It's so important to be in the moment, in the now, and make those moments beautiful. That will give you momentum to move forward with purpose.
"That's that, hope you like it, can't wait for it to hit the track!"
Ricciardo, alongside teammate Lando Norris, is set to take part in the unveiling of McLaren's brand-new MCL36 on Friday evening.
