It has been under evaluation for months, but Renault has finally made a decision on its F1 engine programme at Viry.
The effects for the Alpine team are huge, with it possibly becoming a customer team and losing works status, but employees staged a late protest to try and prevent the project from closing.

Red Bull's season appears to rest on a huge upgrade package coming for the United States Grand Prix, including Max Verstappen's title hopes.
