Red Bull stunned the F1 world three years ago today [Oct 10] at the 2021 Turkish Grand Prix in which a special livery in recognition of Honda was run.

The Milton Keynes-based team ran a red-and-white colour scheme in recognition of Honda departing F1, prior to the outfit then deciding to remain with the team and in the sport.

Red Bull took inspiration from Richie Ginther’s 1965 Mexican Grand Prix-winning Honda RA272.

Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez also wore white race suits on their way to finishing second and third respectively.

The special livery, nicknamed 'The White Bull', was supposed to be run in the Japanese Grand Prix that season. However, that race was cancelled due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
