Red Bull situation 'serious' as 'magnificent' Norris deals latest blow – International media reacts

Lando Norris cruised to victory in the Dutch Grand Prix to reduce Max Verstappen's championship lead to 70 points. 

Verstappen finished in second but 22.9s behind Norris, in the biggest winning margin by a non-Red Bull driver since Lewis Hamilton won the 2021 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. 

Charles Leclerc completed the podium in Zandvoort, where all 20 cars finished and not one yellow flag was flown. 

Oscar Piastri had great pace but had to settle for fourth ahead of Carlos Sainz in fifth, with Sergio Perez, George Russell and Hamilton completing the top eight.

🇬🇧 The Times - 'Norris 'annihilates' Dutch Grand Prix rivals despite another poor start'

Starting in the United Kingdom and British newspaper The Times has focused, of course, on Norris' comfortable victory. 

It was a crushing display by the Briton who made another bad start from pole position, and lost the lead to Verstappen into the first corner. 

However, Norris remained close to the reigning world champion and overtook him with ease on Lap 18, before building his 22.9s gap. 

Mercedes boss Toto Wolff was massively impressed by Norris' display and stated that everyone was "annihilated" by the McLaren driver. 

🇮🇹 La Gazzetta dello Sport - 'Leclerc happy: "I didn't imagine I'd go from sixth to third"'

In Italy, La Gazzetta dello Sport has written about Leclerc's hugely impressive podium, which was not projected. 

Starting from sixth, Leclerc was not seen as a podium contender, with Ferrari having been unable to match McLaren in recent races. 

In an impressive drive, an undercut saw Leclerc overtake Russell, Piastri and Perez during the first pit stops, promoting the Monegasque onto the podium. 

He then managed severe pressure from Piastri for the majority of the second half of the race, yet the McLaren driver could not find a way past Leclerc's Ferrari. 

🇫🇷 L'Equipe - 'Lando Norris after his victory at the Dutch GP: "Apart from the start, it was magnificent"'

In France, French publication L'Equipe has also looked at Norris' second career victory and quotes from the British driver after the race. 

Norris conceded after his win that, again, his start was not good. The 24-year-old has made several bad starts this season, but had the pace to reclaim the lead with ease. 

Everything Norris did after his bad start could not have been done any better, with the performance of the MCL38 having been proof that Norris can now afford to make bad starts and still win. 

In the past, a bad start has often ended chances of victory for Norris. His level of dominance in Zandvoort was to a level that even Red Bull did not always have when it was the lead team.

🇳🇱 De Telegraaf - 'Red Bull team boss Christian Horner: 'We don't have the speed''

In Verstappen's homeland, De Telegraaf has discussed comments after the race from Red Bull team principal Christian Horner. 

Horner conceded after the race that Red Bull just did not "have the speed" to compete with Norris and McLaren, who were superior in terms of outright pace and tyre management. 

Verstappen is usually exceptional when it comes to preserving his rubber, but even the Dutchman encountered tyre troubles much earlier than Norris.

In fact, on the same lap during the first stint, Norris informed McLaren his tyres were good, whilst Verstappen complained of losing grip. 

🇩🇪 BILD - 'Verstappen’s father rages against Red Bull'

In Germany, BILD has focused on some fiery comments from Verstappen's father, former F1 driver Jos Verstappen. 

Jos was furious after the race by just how big advantage McLaren had. The ex-F1 driver slammed Red Bull for reintroducing parts which were used at the start of the season. 

He revealed that he does not believe Horner has the ability to turn things around, with all the "good people" leaving the team. 

In Jos' opinion, his son will become unhappy with the car he currently has and described the Milton Keynes-based team's situation as "serious".

And finally, in Australia the Herald Sun also focused on the current situation at Red Bull and its loss of performance. 

Verstappen complained after the race that the RB20 was not responding to his input, something which was clearly visible on the onboard camera of his car. 

In particular at Turn 10, the three-time world champion could be seen turning his steering wheel, yet there was little response from the front of his car. 

Even Horner conceded that McLaren were "in a different league", with the British outfit now being just 30 points behind Red Bull in the constructors' championship.
