A major update package has been applied to the Red Bull RB18 for the last day of F1 pre-season testing in Bahrain, raising eyebrows up and down the paddock. With Max Verstappen teasing upgrades earlier this week, Red Bull's 2022 challenger emerged from the pit lane on Saturday with heavily revised - and more sculpted - sidepods, while changes are also visible on the floor.

After waiting patiently in the Red Bull garage - with the RB18 hidden behind screens - Sergio Perez finally appeared just under an hour into Saturday morning's session, giving fans and the media their first glimpse of the revisions. Perez hit the ground running in the updated car, going straight to the top of the timesheets with a time of 1:34.733 on the Medium tyre. Verstappen is set to take over the wheel from Perez in the afternoon session.
