Red Bull have revealed that Liam Lawson conducted a private test at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain, ahead of his debut with the Milton Keynes-based team.
Earlier this month, Lawson drove Red Bull's record-breaking 2023 RB19. It marked his first time driving a Red Bull car this year, ahead of pre-season testing on Wednesday.
It was also Lawson's first experience working with his new engineers and mechanics who will support the New Zealander throughout his first full-time season.
Following 11 appearances across the last two seasons for Red Bull's sister team, Lawson was promoted to partner Max Verstappen.
He was chosen as Sergio Perez's replacement instead of Yuki Tsunoda after impressing Christian Horner and Helmut Marko.
Lawson's first action at the Bahrain International Circuit for pre-season testing will be on Wednesday afternoon in the RB21.
