Red Bull have announced the launch date for their 2022 Formula 1 car, the first the Milton Keynes-based team have built to conform to Formula 1's sweeping new technical regulations. The RB18 is set to be unveiled to the public on 9 February, via an online reveal. The car will also be let loose at Silverstone for a pre-season shakedown , as Red Bull have opted to use one of their two permitted annual filming days, with both race drivers getting a chance to blow off the cobwebs ahead of official testing. The RB18 is the car with which Max Verstappen will aim to defend his 2021 F1 World Drivers' Championship title, having beaten Mercedes' Lewis Hamilton to top spot last year. Alongside Verstappen for 2022 is veteran Sergio Perez, as Red Bull stick with an unchanged driver line-up for the start of the new regulation cycle.
