Red Bull confirm no major upgrades for Imola

Helmut Marko reveals Red Bull have no plans to introduce big developments to the RB16B until May. However, he remains confident that Red Bull will be strong at the next event in Imola.

Helmut Marko has revealed Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will largely have the same car as they did in Bahrain for second round in Imola later this month. The Red Bull advisor also believes the 2021 Formula 1 world championship will be decided by one factor. "Which team has the most development potential?," Marko answered to F1 Insider when asked where the championship will be won. "For Red Bull, in over two weeks we will be driving almost the same car in Imola as in Bahrain," the Red Bull adviser continued. "If we don't make all the mistakes we made in Bahrain last weekend, then it looks good for us. The first major update will then come at the third race, in Portugal." Verstappen trails Lewis Hamilton by seven points following the season-opener in Sakhir with the Formula 1 season set to resume on April 16-18 in Imola.
