Red Bull has confirmed Isack Hadjar will make his F1 debut next season competing for the Racing Bulls team alongside Yuki Tsunoda.
Liam Lawson will step up to the front-running Red Bull squad and partner Max Verstappen in place of the departing Sergio Perez.
The promotion for Lawson opened up a spot at the sister team which is often reserved for Red Bull junior prospects.
Hadjar will become the third driver to make his grand prix debut at the season-opening round from Australia next March and is one of six drivers partaking in his first full campaign in 2025.
The French driver has been associated with Red Bull for several years and narrowly missed out on the Formula 2 title this year to fellow F1 rookie Gabriel Bortoleto.
Hadjar made four free practice appearances across the 2023 and 2024 F1 campaigns and drove for Red Bull at the post-season test from Abu Dhabi, having also spent the last year as its reserve driver.

Hadjar speaks on RB promotion
Having now been offered a chance to perform in a full-time capacity for Racing Bulls, French-Algerian racer Hadjar described "a whole new universe."
"I’m very excited to step into my new role at VCARB, this is huge for myself, my family and all the people who have believed in me from the beginning," he said.
"The journey from karting through the ranks in single-seaters, to now being in Formula 1 is the moment I’ve been working towards my whole life, it is the dream.
"I feel like I’m stepping into a whole new universe, driving a much faster car and racing with the best drivers in the world.
"It’ll be a huge learning curve, but I’m ready to work hard and do the best I can for the team. I look forward to working with and learning from Yuki, I’ve always looked up to him, he went through the Red Bull Junior Program, like myself, and we’ve shared a similar path to F1.
"He’s very experienced and will be good to learn from."
