Rally legend Ken Block has died at the age of 55 after a snowmobile accident at his ranch in Utah, USA. The Wasatch County Sheriff's Office stated that Block had been riding his snowmobile on a steep slope when the vehicle upended and landed on top of him. Block – who had been riding with a group but was alone when the accident happened – was pronounced dead at the scene from his injuries. Block was a well-known name in rallying in the United States, having won several races in the World Rallycross Championship. He was also widely known for his Gymkhana online video series, which racked up millions of views, and had appeared in two episodes of the British version of Top Gear. Block additionally was the co-founder of the DC Shoes brand. Tributes have been pouring in following the news of Block's death, with Jenson Button admitting he was "in shock" over the rally star's passing.
