Raikkonen still searching for points as FIA turn down appeal

Kimi Raikkonen is still without points this season after the FIA turned down Alfa Romeo's appeal regarding the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix. As a result the standings from the race remain unchanged.

Alfa Romeo's attempts to recover the points Kimi Raikkonen lost at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix has failed. The news comes after word that the stewards had agreed to review the decision made in Italy , which saw the Finn handed a 30-second time penalty after the race. The decision was a costly one for Raikkonen and the team, as it saw him drop out of the points. Unfortunately for the Finn and his team the original decision has been upheld, meaning the Alpine duo of Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso will keep the extra points they earned. The Frenchman was bumped up to ninth in the final results, while the Spaniard picked up his first points in 10th.
