Racing Bulls has issued a statement following an incident during the podium celebrations of the São Paulo Grand Prix.
Social media footage has gone viral online showing an employee of the Faenza-based outfit appearing to encourage the crowd to boo McLaren's Lando Norris.
The footage posted online shows a Racing Bulls employee filming the fans during the podium celebrations, which also featured Kimi Antonelli and Max Verstappen, while laughing and giving a thumbs-down.
However, the employee was then stopped by another Racing Bulls employee.
Following the incident, Racing Bulls issued a statement on Wednesday morning, which read: "We’re aware of the video from the weekend’s podium. It doesn’t reflect our team’s values or the spirit of VCARB. The matter has been handled internally.
"We believe in celebrating great racing and showing respect to every driver, team, and fan both on and off the track."
