To celebrate the landmark 40th Hungarian Grand Prix this year, the Hungaroring is going to look slightly different to before.

Joining the calendar in 1986 in the first race behind the Iron Curtain, the circuit outside of Budapest has been an ever-present on the calendar since.

It has a contract until 2032, but major renovation works to the paddock and garage areas has been undertaken in time for the landmark race, set to take place over the weekend of August 1st-3rd.

The grandstand opposite the pit-building on the main straight has also been redesigned, although some of the work is not expected to be completed until April 2026.
