Porsche driver smashes through guardrail in heavy crash

The driver had a lucky escape as the car left the circuit and crashed through the guardrail barrier.

A driver in the Brazilian Porsche Sprint Cup Championship had a lucky escape when his car crashed through the guardrail when it left the circuit.

The shunt is reminiscent of Romain Grosjean's fiery crash two years ago at the Bahrain Grand Prix, when his car went through the guardrail.

Thankfully this driver was able to get out of the car under his own power and without serious injuries.
