The hopes of Andretti Global to join the Formula 1 grid have taken a giant leap forward with the news that the FIA has accepted its entry bid.
On Monday (2nd October), F1's governing body announced that Andretti Formula Racing LLC has passed the Phase 2 application, evaluation and approval process - the only one of the prospective entrants to meet the required threshold to go onto Phase 3.
This involves dealing with Formula 1 itself to thrash out terms on a commercial deal - which is F1's prerogative as the Commercial Rights Holder.
As Michael and Mario Andretti prepare to try and come to a deal, RacingNews365 is interested in what you think.
Do you think Andretti should be accepted by F1 and earn a spot on the Grand Prix grid for 2025 or 2026?
