Like him or loathe him, Flavio Briatore gets people talking.
The Italian has been drafted into an executive advisor role at Alpine - the team he lead to title glory in the Michael Schumacher Benetton and Fernando Alonso Renault days, before being dismissed over crashgate in 2009.
Briatore has kept an active role in F1 since a lifetime ban was overturned in 2013, serving as Alonso's manager, but Renault CEO Luca de Meo believes the flamboyant if controversial figure could be the person to help turn around the flagging Alpine.
Briatore won't be team prinicipal or serve in a day-to-day role at the Enstone team, but what do you think of his return?
