At the halfway stage of the 2024 F1 world championship, the gap between Red Bull and McLaren is 78 points in the constructors' standings. McLaren occupies third in the championship, but has had the upper hand on second-placed Ferrari over the last number of races and now sits seven points down on the Italian squad. At Red Bull, Max Verstappen has been scoring high points for the team while Sergio Perez has struggled for results of late, presenting an opportunity for its rivals. But does McLaren, who has been Red Bull's closest challenger for a number of races, have what it takes to take its first title since 2008 this year? Have your say in our poll below!
