Pirelli have revealed that the final two Formula 1 races of the 2022 season will feature different tyre compound selections in Brazil and Abu Dhabi. For the sprint weekend at Interlagos, the Italian firm is bringing the C2-C3-C4 middle of the range compounds for the Sprint race weekend. The C2 will be the white-walled Hard tyre, C3 the yellow Medium with the C4 Soft sporting the red sidewalls. Fortunately, for the finale in Abu Dhabi, Pirelli has opted to go for the softest possible combination - the C3-C4-C5. The C3 becomes the Hard, C4 the Medium and the C5 the Soft for the race at Yas Marina. Over the course of the 2022 season, Pirelli have opted for the C2-C3-C4 range nine times, with the Abu Dhabi spec of tyres being brought a total of six times, mainly on street circuits such as Monaco, Canada and Singapore.
