Saudi Arabia will stage a Grand Prix for the very first time this weekend, with the paddock arriving at the newly constructed Jeddah Corniche Circuit. Tailor-made for Formula 1, the 6.1 kilometre track is set to be extremely fast and flowing, with 79 percent of the lap taken at full throttle. F1 teams spent Thursday getting set up for the event, as mechanics prepared cars in the pit lane and drivers took part in their usual pre-weekend media duties, ahead of first practice on Friday morning.
