Perez to celebrate landmark Grand Prix with special helmet

The Mexican has used the special design he is set to use during the Singapore Grand Prix weekend.

Sergio Perez has revealed the special helmet design he will use during his 250th Grand Prix start in Singapore. The Red Bull driver is to become just the 11th driver in the history of the World Championship to clock up 250 starts in what will be his 254th entry. Perez has failed to start three times in his F1 career at the 2011 Monaco, 2014 Malaysian and 2020 British Grands Prix after a practice crash, power unit issue and testing positive for COVID-19, respectively. The Mexican is the defending race-winner in Singapore, having become the first non-World Champion to win the event when it returned to the calendar in 2022 following a three-year hiatus. Perez is the second driver from the Americas to reach the 250 mark after Brazilian Rubens Barrichello who ended with 323 starts.
