Sergio Perez has been summoned to see Miami Grand Prix Formula 1 stewards after his second place.

Pole-man Perez lost out in a contra-strategy battle in Florida against teammate Max Verstappen, who extended his points lead to 14 following a maximum haul of win and fastest lap.

However, post-race, Perez was summoned to see the stewards at 18:15 (23:15 UK) local time in Miami due to a breach of Article 19.4 of the sporting regulations.

It is alleged that he arrived late for the pre-race drivers' parade.

Update: Perez received a reprimand for his misdemeanour.
