Sergio Perez has been eliminated from qualifying for the Qatar Grand Prix sprint.
The 34-year-old has endured torrid one-lap form in 2024, and has failed to make it out of (S)Q1 yet again at the Lusail International Circuit.
The Red Bull driver only went ninth-quickest with his first proper run, before sliding into the drop zone. His final run elevated him to P13, before he again fell into the danger - for good the second time around.
The six-time grand prix winner appeared to be disturbed by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, but it is not yet clear to what extent that may have impacted his final run.
He will line up P16 for the sprint.
