Sergio Perez is set to start the British Grand Prix from the pit lane after Red Bull made changes to his car prior to the race.
Perez endured a difficult qualifying session at the Silverstone Circuit as he spun into the gravel at Copse corner during Q1 in changeable conditions.
Following the mistake, Perez was unable to take further part in the session and was eliminated from the outing, adding to his difficult run of form.
The Red Bull driver was due to start from 19th on the grid with Pierre Gasly sitting behind him due to a grid penalty for a new power unit this weekend.
However, Perez will now take the start of the race from the pit lane after being fitted with a new internal combustion engine, control electronics and energy store.
The new components fall outside the permitted quota for the season, resulting in the 34-year-old being shifted to the pit lane.
Perez's team-mate Max Verstappen will take the start from fourth on the grid.
