Sergio Perez has hinted his next Formula 1 deal is close to being signed.
The 34-year-old is out of contract at the end of the current campaign, his fourth with Red Bull.
Following a difficult campaign with the energy drink-backed squad last year, Perez was under pressure heading into the current season.
However, the Mexican has enjoyed a strong start, scoring three second-place finishes in the opening four rounds.
With major driver market players such as Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso already settling their futures, Perez is now looking to clarify his 2025 destination as soon as possible.
“Certainly things are moving along earlier than I'd like to,” Perez told media including RacingNews365.
“I think given how the whole market is, we're going to be making decisions fairly quickly. In the coming weeks, I expect to know my future.
“Everything is moving quite fast. So I think it's important not to wait for too long.”

Perez assures over 2025 seat
Amid Perez's disappointing 2023 campaign, his future with the team was up in the air as he struggled to get up to speed behind the wheel of the dominant RB19 car.
However, having found early-season form behind the wheel of the current challenger, Perez is confident that he will not be without a drive for 2025.
When asked if he was sure he would be on the grid next year, Perez replied: “Absolutely 100 per cent, I'm fully committed.
“At the end of the day, I've been a longtime in this sport, but I'm only 34. And when you see all the drivers carrying on, we see these days a lot longer careers.
“I'm still very fresh and very motivated. I have no doubt that 100 per cent I will be here next year.”
