Sergio Perez is adamant he will remain at the Red Bull F1 team next year as speculation mounts over his future.

Perez has struggled for form throughout much of the campaign and sits 251 points down on team-mate Max Verstappen, who clinched his fourth F1 title last weekend in Las Vegas.

The Mexican driver has insisted a fundamental issue exists with the car which is limiting his performance.

His lacklustre results have led to increased talk of a departure from the squad despite Red Bull opting to extend his contract earlier this year.

Addressing his future ahead of the final two rounds of the campaign, Perez has placed his faith in Red Bull.

“At the end of the day, the team has all the information,” Perez told media including RacingNews65. “There is so much I can say here.

“There’s a reason why we extended my contract during the year. The team has everything, we exactly know where we are in terms of performance, in terms of issues and difficulties that we've had.

“We are a team, and we know exactly internally where everything comes.

“We’re working very hard as a team to come through and get back into a much better season than the one that we just had.”

RB drivers Yuki Tsunoda and Liam Lawson have been linked to the seat alongside Max Verstappen next year.

When asked if he had 100 per cent confidence he would be driving for Red Bull in 2025, Perez replied: “Yeah, exactly.”
