Oscar Piastri has shown F1 fans a rare aspect of the Spa-Francorchamps circuit in warming up for this weekend's Belgian Grand Prix with a home simulator session.
The McLaren driver has declared the iconic circuit, situated in the heart of the Ardennes Forest, to be his "favourite track", one on which he finished second last season after Mercedes' George Russell was disqualified after taking the chequered flag in first.
The Australian claims his first sight of Eau Rouge, after coming out of the pits, is "always pretty terrifying", even if a modern F1 car can attack the uphill sweep flat out.
Piastri then encounters a slight mobile phone camera glitch, suggesting it to be "also scared of Eau Rouge", before continuing with his lap.
After praising the "elevation change" of Spa as "cool", Piastri later goes on to highlight a viewpoint not picked up by the television cameras throughout a weekend.
Piastri slows his car and performs what he comically describes as a "J-turn", before stopping and pointing in the distance to Turn 1, offering an indication as to the elevation change he previously mentioned, which is one of the defining aspects of the track.
That can be seen below, along with the full video clip provided by Piastri.
