Oscar Piastri has received major backing from F1 supporters to win the Hungarian Grand Prix – the final race before the summer break.
In a RacingNews365 poll, 57.48% of voters have backed the championship leader to win a second consecutive race at the Hungaroring. His win last year marked his first in F1.
Piastri starts from second having been defeated to pole by Ferrari's Charles Leclerc, who is the second favourite for victory, collecting 15.57% of the votes.
Interestingly, despite McLaren's clear pace advantage in the dry over a race distance, Lando Norris is only the third favourite, picking up 10.54% of the votes.
The Briton finds himself 16 points adrift of Piastri in the championship, with his target being not to let the gap increase into the summer shutdown.
Lewis Hamilton is the Hungarian GP's most successful driver with eight wins, but starts from 12th and has been backed by only 4.62%. As for reigning world champion Max Verstappen who starts from eighth, he has been backed by 5.94% of voters.
