Ollie Bearman's Haas team has been forced to change his power unit and gearbox following his Australian Grand Prix practice shunt.
In FP1 in Melbourne, Bearman had a snap of oversteer exiting Turn 10 - the fast left-right chicane and skated into the gravel.
The Briton kept his foot planted but was eventually spat into the concrete barrier, destroying the right-hand side of the car.
After the car was recovered to the pits, Haas was forced to change Bearman's Ferrari power unit and gearbox as a precaution.
The team was still fixing the machine at the start of FP2, with the hopes of getting Bearman out later in the session.
