Oliver Bearman must visit the stewards ahead of qualifying for the British Grand Prix after being placed under investigation following a bizarre crash in the pit lane.
Specifically, the Haas driver is under investigation for a possible red flag infringement, having attacked the pit entry despite final practice having been red-flagged when the incident happened.
A high-speed crash through Maggots and Becketts for Gabriel Bortoleto resulted in the final seconds of final practice being red-flagged, before Bearman crashed in the pit lane entry moments later.
Debris from the Briton's car had caused a first red flag just a handful of minutes before Bortoleto's crash, resulting in a frenetic end to FP3 at Silverstone.
In terms of his strange pit lane crash, Bearman's rear brakes locked which saw him make contact with the barrier at the pit entry, causing a complete spin. It broke his front wing and nose, but he did return his car to the Haas garage.
Should Bearman receive a grid penalty, he will join Mercedes' Kimi Antonelli in having a punishment for the British GP.
