Lando Norris is under investigation for crossing the circuit on foot whilst it was live, following his opening lap retirement from the Miami Sprint race.
The McLaren driver spun at the first corner after being tagged by Fernando Alonso, who was knocked into himself by team-mate Lance Stroll.
Lewis Hamilton was to blame for the entire incident as he entered the first corner too hot and made contact with Stroll.
Stroll was also forced to retire from the sprint race for the incident, which the stewards opted not to investigate.
However, the stewards are investigating Norris for crossing the circuit on foot to enter the pit-lane, something which is against the rules when the circuit is live.
Norris will visit the stewards at 13:30 local time (18:30 BST).
