Norris 'jealous' of APX GP set-up

The McLaren driver has taken a peak into the fictional team's garage ahead of the British Grand Prix weekend.

McLaren driver Lando Norris has joked he has been left jealous with the special garage set-up for APX GP at the British Grand Prix. The fictional team will be the home for Sonny Hayes and Joshua Pearce, who are portrayed by Brad Pitt and Damson Idris. With Lewis Hamilton overseeing the project to ensure authenticity is at the heart of the film, APX GP has been handed a decked-out pit garage between Mercedes and Ferrari for the Silverstone event, with scenes being shot throughout the weekend. The specially-modified F2 car will take to the track in between sessions to ensure there is no risk to safety as the production team completes filming.

Brad's done a good job

Asked for his thoughts on the film set's integration into the F1 paddock, Norris told media, including RacingNews365.com : "It's great to be a part of something, it is pretty cool. "I've seen the stunt double for Brad, he has been talking about it and saying some things and it all sounds pretty cool, looks pretty cool. "They're doing a good job and it is a big production. I think especially for us to be a part of something - whether we are really that involved or not. "Their garage is really nice, I am pretty jealous of some of the things they have got. "I know they are going to be on track and from what I've heard, Brad's done a good job with the driving and stuff like that."
