A downbeat Lando Norris believes his Abu Dhabi Grand Prix qualifying mistakes proves he is doing a "s**t job on Saturdays."
Having gone P2 on his first Q3 lap on used tyres, Norris went purple on his second lap, armed with fresh Soft tyres in the first sector, before setting a personal best in Sector 2.
However, rounding Turn 14 under the hotel, the rear of the McLaren stepped out of line, with Norris just about holding the slide. He would slip from second to fifth on the grid.
The Briton has also had qualifying failures in Mexico and Qatar recently, and believes the Abu Dhabi mistake is just the latest in a series of failures.

four tenths or something? So yeah, first of all, so it cost you first of all probably Oh yeah 100% But I didn't do it so it doesn't matter you
"[The slide] cost me four-tenths, and 100% cost me [a front row slot]," Norris told media including RacingNews365.
"I've not done more than one lap with more than 50 kilos of fuel, and it was a terrible day for me.
"The car has been very good all weekend, with the few laps that I have done.
"If it was for P1, then maybe [I would stew over it], but I don't think [the lap] would have been P1.
"If you make any mistake in qualifying when you are fighting for a good position, it is frustrating, but the thing is, I just make so many mistakes on a Saturday at the minute.
"The laps in Q1 and Q2 were some of my best, my first lap in Q3 was very strong. There was just this one little mistake. I don't know why it happened.
"It is frustrating because I am just doing a s**t job on Saturdays."
