Lando Norris was left "gutted" after freak weather conditions took away his chance for pole position for the São Paulo Grand Prix.
The McLaren driver was in contention for top spot after showing strong pace throughout Friday's running, joining the fight with Max Verstappen and Ferrari duo Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz.
But the tables turned as heavy wind and rain lashed the Interlagos circuit midway through the only lap completed in Q3, with Verstappen able to get his lap in before conditions deteriorated.
Norris was not as lucky, however, crossing the line seventh fastest, though he will start sixth after a penalty for Mercedes' George Russell.

Addressing his qualifying performance, Norris said: "It was great honestly, the car was amazing and probably quick enough to be quickest today, so pretty gutted.
"The car was was amazing, it felt alive a lot in qualifying and easily good enough to be quickest.
"Obviously delivering the lap and putting it together in Q3 and everything's a different job. So another disappointing Saturday."
