Lando Norris and Lewis Hamilton shared an awkward moment in the cool down room following the remarkable Hungarian Grand Prix.
It was a race in which tempers flared, with the McLaren driver forced to hand over victory to team-mate Oscar Piastri.
After the difficult episode for the Woking team, its last drivers' champion tried to break the ice, but found himself on the receiving end of an odd comment from Norris, who also tossed his second-place finisher cap on the floor.
Hamilton: "Whoo, you guys are fast [to Norris and Oscar Piastri]"
Norris: "Yeah, well, you had a fast car seven years ago."
Hamilton: "Seven years ago? That's a long time. Were you here seven years ago?"
Norris: "You know, you had a quick car. You made the most of it, now it's us."
Hamilton: "I wasn't complaining, I was just complimenting you on your car."
The clip was shared on Formula 1's social media channels with the caption "Tense times in the cool down room".
The comments are full of incomprehension at the way Norris attacks Hamilton after what was clearly meant to be a friendly and sincere ice breaker.
