Lando Norris has joined a few other drivers and embraced the Miami Grand Prix with their own dedicated helmet designs for the race. The McLaren driver has created a 'beach ball' style design in tribute to the south Florida city's famous Miami Beach, after last year's basketball helmet design became a fan favourite. "We did try and go one up on the basketball, which was a fan favourite last year, so we had to try and come up with something that we thought could compete with that, which is tough," said Norris to media, including RacingNews365.com . "We came up with a beach ball, so just something fun you know, it's a nice place to do something like that. And I wouldn't say it's a trend of something I'll do here every year but yeah, people seemed to like it last year. So we wanted to do the same." He was joined by several others including Max Verstappen, Esteban Ocon, and Alex Albon who revealed his helmet design with girlfriend and professional golfer Lily He.
