Nico Hulkenberg facing F1 stewards' investigation in Baku

Nico Hulkenberg has been summoned to see the F1 stewards in Baku for an alleged yellow flag infringement.

Hulkenberg ended the session in 12th place as he builds up towards a race that he hopes can see him capture his first points since his surprise podium at Silverstone.

However, shortly after the session ended, Hulkenberg was flagged by the stewards for an alleged breach of Appendix H, Article 2.5.5 b) of the International Sporting Code, which relates to “overtaking under yellow flag conditions”.

The incident in question took place at 13:33 PM local time, three minutes after the chequered flag flew.

Hulkenberg will see the stewards at 17:40 PM local time, after the conclusion of qualifying.
