Alonso's record

One day, even old father time will catch up with and defeat Fernando Alonso - but it is going to have a hard time trying.

He is set to equal a 51-year F1 record during that contract extension he signed with Aston Martin in 2026.

But he'll still have a decade to go to break the record for oldest-ever F1 driver and would need to race after Tuesday, 19th May 2037...

Ricciardo's struggle

Daniel Ricciardo has not had the start to the season he wanted at RB, having been out-performed across the four races by Yuki Tsunoda.
