Mercedes has teased Formula 1 fans by giving fans a first look at its 2024 Formula 1 car, the W15. The blurred-out image features Lewis Hamilton sitting in the cockpit of the car as the team continues its preparations for the new season. The Brackley-based squad enters the upcoming campaign after finishing runner-up in last year's Constructors' Championship. While it marked an improvement from its 2022 position, Mercedes endured its first win-less campaign since 2011, as neither Lewis Hamilton nor George Russell managed to make it to the top step of the podium. Mercedes is hoping to close the gap to rivals Red Bull this year but faces a large task after the energy drink-backed outfit emerged victorious at all but one round last season. Ahead of the 2024 campaign, Team Principal Toto Wolff and Technical Director James Allison penned contract extensions as they look to spearhead the squad's recovery. See below the initial glimpse of the new Mercedes car, which will launch in full on February 14.
