Mercedes broke F1's regulated curfew ahead of this weekend's Japanese Grand Prix.

Team personnel are not permitted to be within the confines of a circuit during a set time period, something the Silver Arrows were found to be in breach of at Suzuka.

The regulation was introduced to ensure team personnel did not work through the night; however, each team is permitted to breach the curfew three times per season.

As a result, Mercedes will face no punishment, although can now only break curfew two more times this year without being penalised.

An FIA's statement read: "Last night team personnel of the Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS Formula One Team, who are associated with the operation of the car, were within the confines of the circuit during the 14-hour period which commenced at 17:30 on 03 April, 18 hours before the scheduled
start time of P1 and ends four hours before the scheduled start time of P1 at 07:30 on 04 April.

"This was the first of the three individual exceptions permitted for the Mercedes-AMG
PETRONAS Formula One Team during the 2025 Formula 1 Championship season and therefore
no action should be taken."
