McLaren has brought a major upgrade package to the Miami Grand Prix as it aims to close the gap to runaway leaders Red Bull.

The Woking-based squad has scored a duo of podiums at the opening five rounds of the 2024 Formula 1 season.

Both of the top three finishes have come via Lando Norris and its strong start to the campaign has left McLaren sitting third in the constructors' championship.

This weekend, F1 descends on Florida for the third race around the Miami International Autodrome and McLaren is using the event to debut a plethora of new parts.

Oscar Piastri was buoyant over the boost the upgrades will offer McLaren when asked about their significance ahead of the race weekend.

A brand new front wing, as well as a completely revised floor, will hit the track this weekend on the MCL38.

In addition, the front suspension, front brake ducts and winglets have been altered to work in tangent with the new front wing.

The sidepod inlets and the engine cover have also been revised from the previous iteration, while the cooling louvres have also been updated.

At the rear of the car, the brake duct, winglets and suspension have undergone changes while the beam wing has been adjusted to minimise drag around the Miami track.
