McLaren will unveil its 2024 Formula 1 challenger - the MCL38 - on February 14th, as the new car's livery has been revealed.
The car, to be driven once again by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri, is to run a tweaked livery featuring combinations of some of the special liveries run by the team on the 2023 MCL60.
The papaya orange is joined by elements of the black 'stealth mode' deployed towards the latter half of 2023, with the driver numbers of Norris and Piastri set to be chrome, which was the base livery for the team between 2006-2014 and made a brief comeback as part of another special livery last season.
The MCL38 is also set to benefit from McLaren's beefed-up technical department which has been bolstered by the arrivals of Rob Marshall and David Sanchez as Technical Director, Engineering and Design and Car Concept and Vehicle Performance, respectively.
Marshall has joined from Red Bull and Sanchez from Ferrari after periods of gardening leave and will link up with Peter Prodromou in his role as Technical Director, Aerodynamics.
This structure reports to Team Principal Andrea Stella, who in turn reports to McLaren CEO Zak Brown.

"We’re delighted to launch our 2024 Formula 1 livery ahead of the new season," explained Brown.
"The design looks awesome, and I can’t wait to go racing and see it come to life on track next month.
"We didn’t start 2023 as we wanted but Andrea and the team did a great job following the organisational restructure coming into action, and the hard work continues as we carry that excellent momentum into the 2024 campaign.
"I’m confident the exciting pairing of Lando and Oscar will continue to create more mega memories together after such an impressive second half of last year which saw the team finish fourth in the championship with 302 points.
"These are all steps forward from the year before as we continue our mission to push and compete at the front of the grid.
“We’re looking forward to achieving our ambitions and with our valuable partners and fantastic fans on board, they will play an integral part in the journey this season."
