The McLaren F1 team has announced Alex Dunne will partake in his first F1 free practice session at the Austrian Grand Prix this weekend.

Dunne, who currently leads the F2 drivers' championship, will replace Lando Norris for the 60-minute outing.

Toto Wolff hands Mercedes drivers fierce warning: 'I’m going to be ruthless'

Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has stated he will be “ruthless” with his approach to his F1 drivers if they attempt to put their own interests before the team's.

Wolff has been at the helm of the Mercedes squad since 2013 and oversaw one of the most successful periods in F1 history, winning eight consecutive constructors' championships from 2014 to 2021.

Ferrari confirm Austrian GP first practice driver replacement

Ferrari has announced Dino Beganovic will be back behind the wheel of the SF-25 during the first free practice session at the Austrian Grand Prix.

The Scuderia's academy product will take over Charles Leclerc's car at the Red Bull Ring, having been handed his FP1 debut earlier in the year, in Bahrain.

Isack Hadjar makes 'controversial' comment over famous Max Verstappen defeat

Isack Hadjar revealed that his favourite moment in Formula 1 history is Max Verstappen's defeat to Lewis Hamilton in the 2021 São Paulo Grand Prix, something he realises is "controversial". 

F1's trip to Interlagos in 2021 is one of the most famous races in the recent history of the sport, with Hamilton having recovered from last in the F1 Sprint after being disqualified in qualifying.

Valtteri Bottas shares major hint over F1 future

Valtteri Bottas has teased what his F1 future may hold in store with a social media post aimed at the fledgling Cadillac F1 project.

The Finnish driver posted a video in which an SUV from the General Motors-owned brand is pointed out to him, before a conversation over the car's "nice seat" ensues.

F1 owner finally completes MotoGP takeover

F1's commercial rights holders Liberty Media has completed its takeover of MotoGP following approval from the European Commission.

Liberty originally proposed its takeover of Dorna Sports in April 2024, however the bid was subject to an investigation amid concerns it may break anti-trust and competitive laws.
