McLaren Team Principal Andrea Stella is looking forward to having a "headache" should Oscar Piastri beat Lando Norris to a Formula 1 race win.
Piastri endured a brilliant rookie season in 2023, winning the Qatar Sprint race and taking two podiums while Norris scored six podiums.
The Australian is expected to match Norris in his second year at the team, having received updates late last year which contributed to his 108-point deficit at the end.
There is also some questions over whether he can win a race before Norris, who has the unwanted stat of most podiums without a win (11).
When asked if he would be willing to face a 'headache' if Piastri achieve the feat, Stella was excited over the prospect.
“About Oscar getting his first victory, and you talked about a headache, my reaction was ‘A headache?' Wow! I look forward to it," he told Speedcafe.
“It will be an incredible result considering what we saw last year with Red Bull when there wasn't really much space left for anybody else."

Stella: It would be incredible emotions
Stella continued to explain how Norris should be able to learn from the qualities of Piastri, if the Australian manages to take a victory.
“So if we have a victory from Oscar, that will be an incredible emotion, and an incredible emotion for Lando as well because it would mean we have a car that can win races," said Stella.
“And if I project myself for a second into Lando's head, I think I would recognise how fair a competitor he (Piastri) is. He is a very fair person.
“And he would ask himself, ‘What do I need to do better to do the same as Oscar has been able to do?'”
