Ahead of this weekend's Miami Grand Prix, McLaren has announced a brand-new multi-year partnership with online marketplace eBay.
The deal makes eBay an official partner of the McLaren F1 Team, with the company's branding to feature on the race cars driven by Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri starting this weekend at the Miami International Autodrome.
eBay's branding will not be present on McLaren's 2024 car at all events, only in Miami, Silverstone, Austin and Las Vegas.
"McLaren Racing and eBay have a great synergy with both brands having a commitment to a passionate community of followers," said McLaren CEO Zak Brown.
"We look forward to going racing with world's most iconic online marketplace.”
The partnership will allow both brands to maximise their audiences and connect with their fans, through a focus on 'community, individuality and passion'.
“eBay is home to a thriving community of auto enthusiasts, from casual DIYers to professional modders, seeking trusted parts and accessories," said eBay's Global VP of Auto Parts & Accessories, Chris Prill.
"For nearly 30 years we’ve been committed to inspiring and serving this audience, and together with McLaren we will establish lasting connections with even more car and motorsport lovers worldwide.”
