Max Verstappen has been handed a 10-second time penalty after being involved in a dangerous pit lane incident in Miami.
Late on in the sprint race, the wet track conditions began to dry, prompting drivers to take to the pit lane to switch to slick tyres.
Running in third place, Verstappen entered the pit lane but after being serviced, he was given the all-clear to join the fast lane.
However, Kimi Antonelli was running behind and was hit by Verstappen, with the Dutchman sustaining damage to his front wing.
Antonelli, who started the race on pole position, was unable to take his pit stop and therefore dropped down the order.
Verstappen crossed the line in fourth place but his time penalty meant he was demoted outside of the points, finishing P17.
