Max Verstappen has revealed that he would "probably go back" to 2023 if he could relive any moment from his Formula 1 career.
Verstappen's 2023 campaign was officially the most dominant in F1 history, with the Dutchman having scored a record-breaking 575 points on his way to his third drivers' title.
He won a staggering 19 of the 22 completed races, in what was another record he obliterated that year.
Red Bull also broke the records for most wins and points scored in a single season; however, both McLaren could surpass what the Milton Keynes-based outfit achieved this year.
That year, Verstappen drove the RB21, a car which will forever be remembered as one of the greatest in the pinnacle of motorsport.
The 27-year-old sealed the title that season with complete ease but revealed that he failed to truly enjoy every moment of success, making it a moment he would like to relive.
Asked in a Red Bull F1 YouTube video if there are any moments he would like to relive, Verstappen said: "I do want to relive, I think probably some moments in '23 to probably appreciate a little bit more what we were doing.
"Because at the time, you always said, 'Ah, you have to be focused'. You're always so focused on that week and trying to win, and then you go to the next.
"So you don't actually, it was almost like ticking off boxes, and you're not actually fully embracing and enjoying the moment. And I think you only really fully realise it again once you stop winning that much."
If Verstappen could travel back in time, he would return to race days during the 2023 season, in a bid to "appreciate" what himself and Red Bull were achieving.
Verstappen continued: "And, of course, that was amazing, but at the same time you do not enjoy it as you should. It's just how it is.
"But if I had the chance, I probably would go back a little bit and try to appreciate a bit more, even on a Sunday after the race or whatever, just take it in a bit more."
