Max Verstappen will receive Red Bull's latest upgrade in this weekend's Miami Grand Prix, as he looks to keep himself in the F1 drivers' title fight.
RacingNews365 understands that only the Dutchman will receive the Milton Keynes-based team's new upgrade, which is a brand-new floor for the RB21.
It means Yuki Tsunoda will compete in the Miami sprint weekend without the new part, which the team will hope can reduce McLaren's advantage.
The floor is a crucial component of an F1 car, as it generates the most downforce and can influence the balance. In addition, it has a leading role in determining the airflow, which can impact tyre wear.
As discovered so far this season, Red Bull has struggled with tyre wear in hot conditions, which Verstappen will be subjected to at the Miami International Autodrome.
Tsunoda will likely have to wait until the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix to receive the new floor, at the event which will see another new Red Bull upgrade introduced.
Following the opening five rounds, Verstappen sits third in the standings and 12 points adrift of championship leader Oscar Piastri.
The four-time world champion missed media day ahead of Miami weekend, with himself and his partner Kelly Piquet expecting the birth of their first child together.
Verstappen eventually left Nice in the South of France on Thursday, to head to the United States to compete.
